Introduction
Humanity in the 21st century finds itself in a new epochal situation, referred to as the Anthropocene. The Anthropocene is a concept that points to an era in which human activities have come to exert a decisive influence on the entire Earth system. The crisis of this era is not merely an environmental problem, but manifests as a total crisis, intricately interwoven with politics, economy, culture, technology, ecology, religion, and the international order. An era where climate collapse, ecological destruction, the sixth mass extinction, the rapid development of artificial intelligence and technology, geopolitical conflicts, economic inequality, cultural confusion, and religious and social hypocrisy are simultaneously revealed—this is the Anthropocene of today.

KPGM Anthropocene Missiology is a Christian missiological endeavor as an interdisciplinary field, seeking to respond to this era with biblical discernment and from the perspective of the Kingdom of God. Mission in the Anthropocene cannot remain confined to the narrow dimension of speaking only of individual soul salvation. It must be a holistic missiology that inquires into the nature of the crisis facing God's entire creation, including humanity, and how God seeks to holistically restore and unite all things in Christ.
