Identity of the Church
1. The Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27)
The Church is described as the Body of Christ, with Jesus Christ as its Head.

every member of the Church has a unique role and responsibility in serving God.
Each person's gifts and abilities contribute to the growth and effectiveness of the Church.
As the Body of Christ, the Church is called to continue the ministry of Jesus on earth.

The Church is also known as the People of God.

The Church is called to live in obedience to God's Word and to be different from the values of the world.

Mission of the Church
1. Proclaim the Gospel and Make Disciples of All Nations

One of the primary missions of the Church is to proclaim the Gospel. The message of salvation through Jesus Christ is the hope of the world, and the Church has been entrusted with sharing this message. Through preaching, teaching, and personal witness, believers help others understand God's love and His plan of salvation.
